(Second Sem) 4th week: Realistic Art =)

I just want to share first the meaning of the three kinds of art. The first one is the realistic art is art that takes as its subject real objects, scenes, events, people and situations that exist in the world, and attempts to render them mostly as they actually are to our visual sense, as well as to our emotions and mind. Second is art as alteration, this art is is a broad term that encompasses many styles and genres 
of art. And lastly is the distorted art also known as abstract art. Abstract art can be a painting or sculpture  that does not depict a person, place or thing in the natural world - even in an extremely distorted or exaggerated way. 

I prefer the distorted art because for me, I can express my feelings through exaggerated way, I can paint my emotions in different way. And I like it than the other kind of art because its more colorful and more expressible.

(Second Sem) 3rd week: Impromptu Art!

What is Impromptu? Prompted by the occasion rather than being planned in advance, unrehearsed; spontaneous; extempore. That means Impromptu Art is planed in advance, it is an art that portrays moving things in advance.  I experienced some difficulty in drawing my impromptu art, because it's moving, it has no constant place. I don't know how to draw a moving person, eh. So I decided to capture in my mind the moving person I want to draw! It's kinda hard, my drawing is a bit of messy looking. 

I thought that the impromptu art is easy, but it's not! It`s hard because everyone is moving around. In our case, our professor asked us to draw the sporty people around us. I draw a man, playing a volleyball. It's kinda creepy , I don't think that is an example of an impromptu art! Hahah! =)

(Second Sem) Week 2: Overview :)

I choose the Abstract Expressionism, because the artist can express his feelings in to this kind of art even it is little confusing understanding the piece. It is also the kind of art that even we don't know the story behind the painting, we understand it how he portray it in the piece. I also like the pop art, because it is so cool, we can see it in different color much better than the original one. We also can use the pop art in our some of our business like t-shirt printing, for sure, it will be the best seller. Anyway, I think pop art for me is the most modern in all kind of art, because we can easily understand the message of the art.

For me, the influential era of art is the Classical Art: Art of Likeness, because the structures before are so magnificent, it is very catchy in the eyes of the people. Even we are in the modern era today, and a lots of architects designs modern structure, the classical structures are still the best ones. Like the Post Office in Manila, it's like the Temple of Artemis in Ephesus, it is so classical and elegant looking. And also the Medieval Art period, we can see it in the Churches. Most of the Churches here in the Philippines are very detailed. Even the stained glass is very elegant.

There's a lot of old Churches here in the Philippines, like San Fernando de Dilao Parish Church in Paco, Manila, Binondo Church, Manila Cathedral and many more. Those Churches are very detailed and admiring. It is really a place where we can pray solemnly.

(Second Sem) Week1: Who is Mona Lisa?

Who is Mona Lisa? I guess a lot of us know Mona Lisa, but do we know who is the girl behind that drawing? Well, I guess none, even me, I researched about Mona Lisa before I went to this site. So, Mona Lisa or Lisa del Giocondo is the wife of Francesco del Giocondo. The Mona Lisa is a portrait of a woman by Leonardo da Vinci, an Italian artist who is also a great architect, inventor  and other. Leonardo da Vinci began painting Mona Lisa in Florence, Italy. 

The real name of Mona Lisa is Lisa Gherardini Giocondo. She is called "La Giocondo" in Italian and "La Joconde" in French. Lisa Giocondo is really beautiful, imagine if she is alive right now, for sure, she will get tons of suitor. Da vinci took more than 4 years to paint Mona Lisa.The painting has been a part of France's royal collection since the early 16th century. King Francis I purchased the painting from Leonardo after the artist accepted his invitation to live in France in 1517.

The painting hang today in La Louvre Museum in France, the museum gets 6 million visits every year. And did you know that Mona Lisa is kept in a bulletproof box and every year Mona Lisa receives a check-up in which the box surrounding it is opened and the climatic conditions.

Week 10: Things to do to enhance creativity.

My five things to enhance my creativity:

-First, we need to imagine what we're going to do, imagining things are free so take time to imagine.
-Second, we need to explore what are the latest in the scene of your field, in Multimedia, we need to be updated in softwares that we are going to use, for example, we need to update our Photoshop for the new trends in editing.
 -Third is  be curious, ask what are the new ones, why it is like that, and how it was done.
 -Fourth is practice, practice what you are in to, it is very important because practicing makes perfect.
 -And fifth is enjoy,  we don't need to be a geek in doing these things, we also need to enjoy things.

We just need to combine these 5 things and surely, we will enhance our creativity.

Week 9: Blogging about blogging!

Blogging is about what you feel, what you see, and what you feel about everything. But of course, we need to be careful on what we are blogging about because we might hurt and offend someone, we also need to choose on what we are going to blog. Blogging will not make you famous unless you are blogging on good things. There's a lot of blogging site in the internet, like Tumblr, Wordpress, and what I am using, the Blogger. We also have the power to design our blogs to make it nice and making us more interested on blogging. I love designing my blog, it refreshes my eyes when I see my blog, I love the cute details of my blog especially my banner ♥

I started blogging when I'm in 2nd year high school. My Tumblr blog is usually a Photo Blog, I also reblog, I usually reblog a photo that catches my eyes. I also ranting about my life sometimes.I back-read lots of topic sometimes . Anyway, we also need to blog to share our feelings, sometimes it is the way of expressing our emotions. For me, it's also my way to put all the resentment away, blogging makes me happy sometimes! :D 

Week 8: New world, old people

New media is really life changing for all of us. We are bored if we don’t have internet connection or if we don’t have gadget to play. For me, internet is really important because it became a routine for me, my day is not complete if I don’t check my social networking sites like my Facebook and Tumblr account. If I don’t check my accounts, I feel like I’m out of the latest news and trends. We can really live without these medias, just imagine the old peoples, they lived for a long time even they don’t have gadgets and internet connection.

I just can’t imagine how our world transforms so fast. Just like in 1998, we thought that apples and blackberries were just fruits, but now, they’re the leading brand of cell phones, not just in texting, but also in connecting people in social media.  

Week 7:Rain or Shine!

Rain or shine, I'm always lazy. But I'm also enjoying rainy season, 'cause it's cold, everyone gets sleepy, no one is trying to take a bath because the water is cold. But what I really do on rainy days is nothing, KEDENG! I sip hot choco, or a soup, I ate a lots of  foods. Sometimes, I'm reminiscing my high school memories, when it rains, we are focused in the television, waiting for the news if we have classes or not. Not like in college, the students are waterproof! 

I also enjoy playing in the rain, I feel like I'm ~*forever young*~ HAHA I just missed my childhood. And I just hate the moment when the rain pours very hard, and when you're watching and the T.V is the only thing you to enjoy, the electricity shuts down because the electricity pole was broken. Definitely all of us hates that moment. 

Week 5: My New Family is Epic! :D

The MMA Family is fun fun funnn~ Seriously, even I don't really know my classmates, I feel I can be with them. Especially yesterday, I felt so happy because I am expecting that our G.A will be boring, but not, it was really fun fun funn~! Hahaha I also don't expect that we are not involved in the MMA class picture, but when Ms.A said that we need to go to the lobby, I was shocked because I'm not ready =))  I thought only the higher year of MMA are included in the picture. After the pictorial, some higher year of MMA shared their experiences with us. <3

I think that MMA has the strongest bond of all the programs in LPU-L, because the higher year is very friendly and loving, they take care of us, and ate Bebz said to us that they will not let happen to us their bad experiences. I just love being a MMA student, even  I'm haggard everyday because of commuting back and forth. But I know it will worth it in the future :)

Week 4: United as One~ :)

Teamwork is one of the important part of being a group. If you're group is not working as one, surely, your projects will fail. We need teamwork, because sometimes your group mates are not working, of course that is really unfair. It's also a waste of time if only one of your member is working, the leader should set who will be in that position, for example, your group need to make a movie, your leader ordered you to become an editor of that movie and your other member is assigned to be the camera man. In that case, your movie will be presented faster because your group has a teamwork.


I can say that our group in Comm.Tech has a teamwork, Why? Because they went to UPLB even they're far away, my other classmate lives in Batangas and she still went there because it is for our project, we chose that place because we think that  is the perfect place for the old and new communication. Our group acted as one, even we didn't finish our shooting there, we still continued it in our school, we became an instant actors and actresses  :D And now, one of our member is editing our movie. We shared our thoughts and creativity to make our movie nice. We work as a team, so we are hoping that our next project will be more creative =)

Week 3: Communication Communication Communication =))))

Technology made communication more easy for us people to  make it more portable. It is also easy because we can carry our hi-tech gadgets like our cellphones anywhere and communicate with our friends or relatives. We can also pay our bills online and buy items online because of  internet and technology not like before our parents used to mail our relatives through mailman and telegrams. They go to their neighbors to gossip, but now, our generation, we used to gossip through social networking sites which is bad because we don't know who's the real composer behind  the issue.

It's also sad because other people are using the technology in the wrong way, for example, hacking one's personal account. Not like before, they cannot do it because they don't have enough techniques to steal or do whatever illegal. Now, the criminals are also hi-tech, they also use Facebook to capture the attention of people so they can do what they want. They also uses technology to make an illegal things, like contacting the other criminals using cellphone and then they will do illegal things :>

Week 2: Why Communicate?

                We communicate to share our feelings, thoughts, or expressions. We need to communicate because if we don’t do it, what will be the world look like? And we will not understand  what the other people are talking about. We also need it for our works to understand the tasks that we need to do, for school to recite and cooperate with other students, and  to all the living things that we need to talk.

                We communicate to express our feelings, if we’re angry, sad or happy. We also need it to share our thoughts, what we need to say to other people, we communicate to learn and teach others. It is important because we use it everyday. Actually I'm doing it right now. =))) Thank God that we are blessed that we have a different kind of communications so that we can communicate with our loved ones even they're far far away from us <3

Week 1: CAS is Fun!

CAS is Fun!

I feel so awkward because I always come on school early, I wait almost 30 minutes, and a lot of students staring at me, I’m so shy. And when I’m inside the room, I feel like I’m safe, I feel like no one is staring at me.  The day passes,  I was more talkative, I have new friends in my new school.  June 21, 2012, we had our General Assembly, It was fun, I met other CAS students, they’re so pretty and talented. I was so amazed that the CAS department  is the most active and loudest, I told myself that I belong to this department, this is where I belong, because I’m also noisy, active and bubbly like the other members of CAS department.

Yesterday, June 22, 2012, we had our Freshman Day; It was really really fun, I enjoyed most the Boodle Fight. Why? Because I was really hungry by that time, so I ate lots of salted egg and rice. I also enjoyed the Mr. And Ms. Freshman, I was really noisy, I shouted all the time because I’m cheering for my blockmates, Zamantha and Gladwin, who was nominated for Mr. And Ms. Freshman. But unfortunately, they didn’t win L  I really love my new environment, my new friends, my new mentors and a lot of other new stuffs.  I’m just starting my college life, more challenges to come and thank God I belong to CAS Department! <3
